In old days, water had distributed by signature people, called “MIRAB”. They played a very important role in the society so they were highly respected. They carried clean water door to door. We are leading water door to door in a modern way, so called ourselves “MIRAB”.
Mr. Morteza Tavajoh has founded the manufacturer in the name of “Forminkar” as of 1979 in Tehran. In the first step “Forminkar” made models and cast. Developing pipeline networks demand, encouraged “Forminkar” to enter the market with great enthusiasm.
Butterfly valves were the first series of Mirab products which were produced with international standards and high quality. Communicating with noble valve manufacturer, improves our knowledge during years. Now Mirab provide valves in 12 categories (more than 2000 products) which applied in dams, water & sewage treatments, pipeline networks, irrigation, power plants and other industries.
Nowadays, after three decades producing valves and receiving honored international certificates; Mirab exports more than 50% of its products to many countries from Asia to Latin America and Europe to Africa, in a growing way, in the past two years.
Now Mirab employs more than 430 personnel in the area of 270000 ft² to service the customers properly. The production line enhanced with medium frequency induction furnace, CNC and universal machines, electrostatic epoxy powder painting shops, assembly shops, hydrostatic test shop, modern chemical and mechanical laboratories equipped with a flame atomic absorption spectrometry, spectrophotometer, impact testing machine, metals universal testing machine, etc.
