MIRA (Mirabilis Institute of Regnerative Action) is a not for profit initiative of MIXD, with capabilities in competitive positioning, urban policy, foresight & innovation, experience design and placemaking. It has delivered international projects for clients across the public, private and social sectors: Mayor of London, Bay Area Council Economic Institute, UKTI / UK India Business Council, DFID, GTZ, Government of India, WWF, Urban Age (LSE), Ashoka, Future Agenda, The Xander Group Inc, Virtuous Retail, Volvo Ocean Race and ULTRa PRT / Fairwood Group.
MIRA has a special focus on urbanisation in India. It has worked extensively with public, private and civil society stakeholders to shape a platform to explore alternative urban futures for India: Urban Habitats Forum. UHF, in partnership with the India Habitat Centre, conceptualised and delivered the inaugural Habitat Summit. It subsequently partnered the Institute for Urban Transport to shape the Ministry of Urban Development's knowledge platform for urban transport: Urban Mobility India. MIRA was invited by the World Bank in New Delhi and Washington D.C. to share strategies to manage urbanisation in India. MIRA was also engaged by the Planning Commission of India for a review of India's policy framework to manage urbanisation.
