MIRO Consultancy and Training

We are MIRO Consultancy and Training, consisting of two consultants: Mischa Heeger and Rosanne van Halm. Together we offer a unique combination of complementary expertise and backgrounds on organizational, operational and financial management for (local) NGO's. We are specialized in USAID funding, and can support in navigating the USAID rules and regulations. We work from our own experience and combine practice with up-to-date theoretical knowledge. MIRO can provide support in pre-award surveys, organizational capacity assessments, compliance adherence, training on rules and regs and mentoring of new recipients to enable optimal performance. For USAID recipients/partners, either new, expected or established, MIRO can support proposal development including budgeting, award negotiations, and setting up systems that follow the rules and regulations of USAID to gain and maintain funding with the ultimate goal of making a bigger impact in project implementation and international development. Having successfully managed four USAID-funded flagship projects with eight coalition partners in 24 countries for a total amount of > 800 M US$ over the past two decades, we have gained extensive experience in working with USAID, setting up offices in implementing countries and strengthening offices and organizations in working with donor funding.
