Mirror takes a fundamentally different approach to traditional organizational performance management. Our thesis is that organizational and team performance relies in very large part on effective collaboration behaviors. Individual performance too relies on specific behaviors that effect successful collaboration. Individuals and teams alike can develop behaviors that inhibit effective collaboration. This generally results from a delta in behavioral and situational awareness that can widen over time. Absent a structured means to course correct in a timely manner this can be debilitating to teams and individual careers. Daily interactions are a stage upon which behaviors both collaborative and inhibitive play out. Interactions provide abundant and meaningful context for peer to peer reflection on these collaboration behaviors, on quality of engagement and on intentionality of purpose in day to day collaborations. Capturing and learning from reflections at each opportunity can help shape behaviors that ultimately drive both team performance and individual success. Mirror will allow individuals to give and receive reflections to their peers in a structured, and meaningful way.
