MIS Buddy Connect

The Buddy Connect Program is a student-led initiative under the MS-MIS program at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University, designed to help incoming graduate students transition smoothly into life at TAMU and the U.S. With a strong team of dedicated buddies, we aim to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where new students—both domestic and international—receive mentorship, guidance, and support before and after their arrival. From answering pre-arrival questions to hosting onboarding sessions and organizing community-building events, Buddy Connect ensures no student feels lost or alone. We believe in the power of peer support to build confidence, create meaningful connections, and set up students for success academically, professionally, and personally.
