FIRST Robotics Team MisCar 1574

MisCar 1574 is a FIRST Robotics Competition team based in Misgav, northern Israel. It consists of 10th-12th graders from Misgav Community High School, and 11 volunteer mentors. MisCar has been competing in FRC since 2005, the year it was founded in Israel. It's one of Israel's leading teams, and a very prominent player on a global scale as well. Out of 18 years of activity, we represented our country 11 times in the world championship. We were also the recipients of the prestigious Engineering Inspiration award, for our success with advancing respect and appreciation for STEM within our community, as well as a number of awards for our robots' design and control mechanisms (Industrial Design Award, Excellence in Engineering Award, Innovation in Control Award, Creativity Award, Autonomous Award and more). Aside from the technological challenge, we're committed to "pass on the inspiration" that FIRST made on us to the community. We develop and host unique activities for kindergartens and schools, help and guide other robotics teams and take part in professional conferences such as NISummit, Autodesk conventions and more. We've been hosting a fundraiser event called "Robotic-Fun" for more than 13 years, to expose the Misgav community to our program and raise money for the team, as we are powered by sponsors and donors.
