Mistra Digital Forest is a research program aimed at promoting sustainable development in forestry through digitalisation. The program develops methods, models, and digital tools to create a digital forest value chain and promote a circular bioeconomy. The program has a total budget of 224 million SEK for the period 2019-2027. The program is funded by Mistra and participating corporate partners.
Participating organizations in the program include Swedish Forest Industries Federation, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), Umeå University, IVL Swedish Environmental Institute, Skogforsk, Billerud, Holmen, Kopparfors skogar, SCA, Stora Enso, Sveaskog, and Södra.
