Since its inception in the 70s, the MIT African Students Association has gone on to become a hub for the brightest minds to commune together and share the spirit of African brotherhood. We foster an environment that invites members (and non-members) to participate in cultural activities and educational development. A nascent project of ours, the African Learning Circle, meets bi-weekly to strengthen the spirit of innovation, culture and excellence by studying Africa's past with hopes of creating a brighter and more sustainable future. With collaborations with other organizations on the MIT campus, and our accomplished alumni, we press further in creating a platform that equips our community to put its powerful ideas into hands-on innovation, in line with the MIT mind and hand motto.
