MİTAŞ Group was primarily launched when MİTAŞ Metal Construction Inc. was established in Ankara, Turkey, in 1955, in order to operate to develop national power transmission and distribution infrastructure. Since its turn towards export in 1993, MİTAŞ Group delivered its products and EPC contracting services to over 135 countries in 5 continents and widened its customer portfolio across the world constantly. The Group, today, operates on a global scale in the business of engineering, manufacturing and construction of towers, poles, high masts and structures for power transmission, substation, solar, telecommunication, lighting, and transportation infrastructure. With headquarters in Ankara, and manufacturing facilities in Turkey and Italy, MİTAŞ Group comprises of the following companies: *MİTAŞ Investment Inc. is the principal shareholder of the Group Companies. *MİTAŞ Industry Inc. is the flagship company of the Group, which operates on the design and manufacture of steel towers and poles for various sectors including energy, lighting, transportation and chemistry. *MİTAŞ Energy and Metal Construction Inc. is an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracting company on power transmission lines and substations projects. *MİCHA Galvanized Steel Construction Inc., established with the partnership of Charignon, France, is engaged in manufacturing of steel lattice towers mainly for transmission and distribution lines, and telecommunication. *MİTAŞ Bolt Inc. manufactures bolts, anchors, stud bolts, nuts and washers for steel constructions, buildings and automotive industry. *Galvasol Inc. operates on the production and sales of galvanizing chemicals. *MİTAŞ Composites Plastics Inc. is involved in the design and manufacture of composite utility poles and parts.
