As blockchain makes inroads into mission-critical industry applications, it is no longer enough to rely upon the strength of the underlying blockchain. We need new tools and a new platform that helps give developers and users more confidence in the applications they write and use. Mithrl takes the lessons learnt from Bitcoin and Ethereum and approaches the problem from a new direction grounded in mathematics and equational reasoning, to provide stronger guarantees about the safety and security of blockchain based applications.
