We are a young and dedicated team of X-ray imaging specialists and software developers who share the same mission: Simplifying, enhancing and promoting the application of CT in industries and academia. Our core activity is the development of advanced software packages for CT system integrators and the end-user solution X-AID. X-AID is a highly-efficient software for fast CT reconstruction, artifact correction, image quality enhancement and 3D visualization of scientific and industrial μCT data. The easy-to-use interface and the semi-automated workflow guarantee optimum imaging results without knowledge about CT reconstruction and data processing. The software runs independently from the CT hardware as stand-alone application and features data-reading routines for various X-ray CT systems. The multi-GPU implementation assures fast reconstruction results even for large data sizes. X-AID is equipped with powerful tools to correct for geometrical misalignments and image artefacts caused by motion or beam hardening. Various reconstruction options like local tomography, multi-height, offset scan and batch reconstructions are available. For advanced users, a python library containing all functionalities of X-AID is further included into the software and allows for a very flexible and versatile development of own individual solutions.
