MIT Sustainable Energy Alliance

The Sustainable Energy Alliance aims to differentiate itself from other organizations on campus by reversing the notion for its existence; the club exists to serve its members, not for its members to serve the club. In this regard, members should use the organization as a vehicle to accomplish team goals and be directly responsible for the outcomes of the organization. FROM THIS WE ESTABLISH THREE GUIDING PILLARS: 1. Personal development of members 2. Cultivating discussion around sustainability especially as it relates to energy 3. Giving back to the community and involving the community in the discussion
