“Close harmonies, smooth vocals, and a whole lotta’ love are what sets MitzyGeorge apart.” Originally named after their first hit show Country Girls, three local divas combined to tell the story of three girls on their pursuit of love and happiness. In a tale of heartbreak and self-discovery, the Country Girls won the hearts of local audiences and decided to take their group even further. Established artists in their own rights with over thirty years experience between them, South African Pop star Mia Whitfield, sultry Blues singer Tammy Saville, and Contemporary vocalist Samantha Landers, joined forces to create something new; a South African, all-female, Country group that finds its inspiration in the soulful, honest, and melodic sounds of Country Music. After two years of wowing audiences in and around South Africa, the Country Girls have evolved to form a dynamic, modern group rooted in the traditional sounds of Nashville, Tennessee, but with the heart and soul of home; Africa. Fuelled by a passion for empowering and supporting others, MitzyGeorge ignites in front of an audience and they find their inspiration in sharing their stories and experiences with you. MitzyGeorge is currently working on their debut single and first official tour.
