Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium is an employment assistance center created from a network of resources, providing FREE services to improve the region’s workforce. We partner with businesses to develop recruiting and retention strategies and we partner with job seekers to enhance education and career opportunities. Service area consists of Alcona, Alpena, Cheboygan, Crawford, Montmorency, Oscoda, Otsego and Presque Isle Counties in the State of Michigan. We are a proud partner of the American Job Center Network.

Michigan Works! Northeast Consortium intends to strengthen the system by simplifying for our customers a very complex network of resources. We do not expect our customers to self-diagnose what programs they may need, but present a model in which they can visit a center, speak with staff, and be directed to the appropriate resources to meet their needs.
