Located at 757 Rue Des Seigneurs, Maison Miyoskamin is a new building recently acquired by the Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal. Maison Miyoskamin is the site of a new 2nd stage housing program for Indigenous women and their families. Additionally, the new Saralikitaaq Community Social Pediatrics Clinic is housed within Maison Miyoskamin. Following the a model developed by the Dr.Julien Foundation, Saralikitaaq will use a holistic approach -incorporating medicine, law, social work, and education- to providing Indigenous children with the care and support they need to grow up healthy and reach their full potential.
