Mjedisi.al is the biggest and only independent media organisation 100% focused in environmental awareness and advocacy. This project started as a solution for environmental justice in the country of Albania, by bringing attention, awareness and advocacy towards issues that nobody talks about, but are very much there. Through the project, we've brought justice and light to many underserved problems in local communities in Albania, such as the case of Laknas community, where we got together with the residents of the village, to fight and advocate against a project that threatened to cut an entire forest of trees, planted by the people of Laknas many years ago. This is just a small example of our media in action, while cases like this are in dozens. During it's lifespan of around 5 years, Mjedisi.al has emerged slowly as a multimedia group, with distribution across all relevant digital channels. Our reach with videos, articles and publications, has reached millions of people in Albania and has created significant and measurable impact for environmental protection.
