Mjedra e Kosovës/Raspberry of Kosovo

Founded in 2015, "Mjedra e Kosova" is a national association comprised of eight small regional associations that are mainly production organizations and 17 collection centers. "Mjedra e Kosovës" was established with the aim to promote the development of the berry sector and provide advice and technical assistance that leads to an increase in yields and quality needed to meet market demands and standards. "Mjedra e Kosovës" promotes the commercial and strategic interests of the sector. The main objective of the association is to gain better market access for producers through collection centers and lobby to MAFRD on behalf of its members. "Mjedra e Kosovës aims to address berry sector problems by improving the quality and quantity of products, increasing the knowledge and competitiveness of farmers and strengthening their role.
