Our team at MJH provide structural engineering design and detailing services to the offsite industry. Through R&D, an intense focus on offsite & a solution driven approach we have achieved offsite solutions at the leading edge of the industry. MJH recently completed a number of projects including Europe’s tallest and third tallest modular builds at 28 and 24 storeys. We also completed the engineering design for two modular towers of 44 and 38 storeys which are likely to be the World’s tallest when completed and will take modular to the heights of skyscrapers.
To achieve these heights, we have extended engineering principles from traditional structural design to encompass the additional requirements imposed on building by assembling large elements offsite and connecting onsite. We apply engineering principles and creative problem solving from fabrication to manufacture and through site assembly. We work closely with our clients and other experts in the offsite industry to move modular forward and extend the range of solutions provided. The systems we have engineered have been used to erect 24 storeys in 7 weeks and 28 storeys in 13 weeks incorporating 679 modules.
