The California Chapter of the Music Library Association was originally formed in 1941. In 1946 two separate chapters, the Northern and Southern chapters were established. In 2013 the two regional chapters merged into the current California Chapter. Today, we represent dozens of music librarians throughout the state and from several different institutions.
