The Montreal Light Microscopy Course (MLMC) is designed to provide one week of intermediate to advanced instruction in optical microscopy. Core facility staff and managers, graduate students, post doctoral fellows, PIs, and research scientists are all welcome to attend. The course is a mix of lectures and hands-on sessions on a wide variety of light microscopes ranging from standard confocal microscopy to multi-photon, light sheet microscopy and multi-dimensional imaging. Following data acquisition, course participants learn to process their data in the image analysis laboratory using state-of-the art image analysis methods.
