MLOps South Africa

MLOps South Africa aims to promote the development of MLOps best practices in industry and academia. With the rise of machine learning implementations in organisations across the globe and in South Africa, robust and scalable ways are sought to manage the machine learning lifecycle and the artefacts it produces. MLOps is an emerging field and is rapidly establishing itself as a solution to managing the machine learning life cycle. However; much uncertainty still exists among data professionals on the best practices to adopt in their organisations. Our aims are: 1. To raise awareness of the need for mature MLOps practices among leaders and managers, data scientists, data engineers, machine learning engineers, AI enthusiasts and other data professionals. 2. To provide a forum to foster and grow knowledge and understanding of MLOps among data professionals. 3. To provide opportunities for data professionals to network, collaborate and share experiences.
