Our device solutions are designed to provide passive automatic safety to the healthcare provider/device user, reducing overall process cost, and to develop significant technological and competitive opportunities to distributors. The marketplace for our products is worldwide. In the US, this includes FDA mandated use of safety devices to protect healthcare providers from contaminated needle stick injuries, which our products provide. The total market for PIVC medical devices in the US alone for 2019 is estimated to exceed USD4 Billion.
Our business model is based on incorporating direct operational knowledge into the design process and underlining that effort with patent protection and healthcare provider focus group evaluation. Utilizing a network of outsourced vendors, we take our designs and create proof of concept tooling and operational prototypes that provide potential partners with fully functional devices for analysis and consideration, allowing each to fully assess manufacturability, operational advantages, and economic opportunity. Optimally we work towards a license or sale contract for our designs and patents to significant and existing market shareholders, allowing our partner(s) to commercially develop each product to its maximum potential.
