Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure The Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure performs administrative and other tasks related to: inland maritime, nautical, road, rail, air and postal services; the cableway, funicular and cableway traffic system and inland waterway traffic with the infrastructure of those modes of transport; planning, development, and implementation of strategic documents and projects of transport infrastructure proposes a strategy for the development of all types of transport; protection of the sea from pollution from ships; seaports, maritime domain, and maritime domain, maritime insurance, and maritime agencies; ports on inland waterways; inland freight transport centers; airports; means of transport other than those which fall within the scope of work of other ministries; inspection activities: the safety of navigation at sea, inland, and international road traffic and roads, except for tasks within the scope of the Ministry of the Interior, railway safety, safety of cableways, funiculars and lifts, air navigation and inland waterway safety electronic communications, information society (except for activities within the scope of other central government bodies) and postal services, drafting laws and regulations in the field of electronic communications and postal services, ensuring and implementing the established policy and implementation of laws and other regulations in the field of electronic communications and postal services, drafting strategies, strategic plans, studies, guidelines, and programs for the development of electronic communications and postal services in the Republic of Croatia, and drafting plans for their implementation, preparing analyzes and reports, and preparing proposals for measures and plans for developing and improving the situation in the field of electronic communications and postal services and in domestic and international postal services
