The Motion Biomechanics & Imaging lab - MOBI lab - represents a collaborative initiative between Erasmus MC (Departments of Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine; Radiology; and General Practice) and TU Delft (Department of Mechanical Engineering). This lab is the first of its kind in the Netherlands and combines traditional motion capture (MOTEK) with fluoroscopic imaging (OLDelft). Our aim is to use this innovative setup to yield precise and accurate measures of human movement in individuals living with osteoarthritis. These measures will improve our understanding of biomechanical risk factors, and support more individualized evaluation and treatment.
