Many people in the de-occupied territories of Ukraine still don’t have water and electricity due to the mass attacks and consequent destruction of Ukrainian infrastructure by the Russian invaders. These people need to fulfill their basic hygiene needs. About the project Clean clothes is the basic need of every person. Mobile washing stations is a social project for collecting and washing clothes for families with children and the elderly. The clothes will be collected and washed in a mobile laundry, which is basically a truck equipped with washing machines, electrical generator and water tanks. Each laundry is able to serve up to 120-150 people during a working shift. Project goal Our goal is to equip 10 trucks with washing machines, water tanks and electrical generators. These trucks will give families with children and elderly people who found themselves in a dire situation due to the destruction of critical Ukrainian infrastructure by Russia a possibility to wash clothes. The truck will operate in Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia regions and other de-occupied territories. Today, we are looking for partners among international companies and brands, primarily manufacturers of washing machines and powders, who are ready to become part of our social mission.
