Mobility Electronics, Inc. designs, develops, and manufactures custom electronic controls for other OEM's. Our controls provide the intelligence inside of their products. Our primary customers are the largest U.S. OEM's supplying Mobility Aids to the disabled and elderly. We also supply motor controls to other markets such as Material Handling. Our business model: A full service supplier of OEM electronics from concept to end-of-life. Typically, our customer's markets are very cost sensitive while requiring the highest reliability. We work with our OEM customers to define their specific control requirements. We write a complete product specification, ensuring that the customer's end product will operate as desired. All design of electronics, software, and mechanical elements needed to implement the product is performed at our Engineering location in California. We help specify and participate in prototype testing and production validation at our OEM. Once a product is approved, we manufacture and supply the product. Manufacturing is in the USA. We source as many components from the USA as is economically feasible. Production volumes of individual products range range from 2,000 to 50,000 per year. Our primary expertise is in D.C. motor controls (up to 10 HP+) and power conversion. We also provide systems integrating Infrared and RF remote control as part of the motor control function. Some products incorporate state of the art battery charging for SLA and Li-ion batteries.
