JSS Electric Vehicle Center of Excellence (EV-COE) is committed to shaping the future of the automotive and EV sectors through industry-focused training and innovation. The center caters to B.Tech/M.Tech students (EEE, EE, ECE, Mech, Robotics, E&IE), industry professionals, researchers, and startups. In partnership with Dassault Systèmes, the EV-COE utilizes the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to deliver hands-on training and project-based learning in: 🔋 EV Technologies – covering Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Power Electronics, EV Modeling & 1D Simulation using 3DEXPERIENCE and MATLAB/Simulink, Battery & Cell Engineering, E-Drive Systems, Thermal Management, and Battery Diagnostics. 🚘 Automotive Engineering – including Mechanical Design, BIW Sheet Metal, Powertrain, Vehicle Architecture, Chassis and Interior Design, Structural Simulation, and Digital Factory with Process Planning. To meet evolving industry demands, the center incorporates MATLAB/Simulink as a key simulation tool for electric vehicles, reflecting its broad relevance and widespread industry adoption. The center also supports Training of Trainers (ToT) programs, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and has successfully trained over 2000 students through various academic and industrial initiatives. It actively engages with MSMEs, startups, and research scholars by providing access to advanced technologies such as Digital Twin, Virtual Reality, and 3D Printing. Through workshops, seminars, and industry-focused talks, JSS EV-COE continues to foster a strong culture of innovation, continuous learning, and effective academia-industry collaboration.
