Mobility Solutions was founded by Mike Petterson, a respected Durban businessman, in June 2008. With over 15 years experience in both private and government health care sectors, Mike has an accomplished track record in the medical supply field. Mobility Solutions are a Level 4 BBBEE contributor and enjoy a close association with QASA (QuadPara Association of South Africa) and QAK (QuadPara Association of KwaZulu Natal) as part of their social responsibility programme. Mike and his wife Lorraine participate and assist in many disabled cycling and quad biking events throughout the country. December 2011, saw the opening of the new Disabled/Rehab/Frailcare Division within Mobility Solutions, run and managed by Lorraine. Mike and Lorraine realised there was a huge gap in the market for a professional company who can provide the best available equipment at affordable rates plus back up and spares service to the disabled, frail care and rehab sectors around South Africa.
