Originally established as a rolling mill guide system plant, MHIL forged a strategic joint venture with Morgårdshammar, marking a pivotal moment in our journey. In 2008, our commitment to innovation led us to establish a state-of-the-art plant for Welding Electrodes under the esteemed GMM Arc brand. Nestled in a sprawling 8300 square meters facility in Modipuram, Meerut (U.P), just 70 kilometers from Delhi, this cutting-edge plant specializes in the production of welding electrodes and CO2/CCMS wires. Undergoing a transformation in 2013, MHIL emerged as a distinctive entity as the collaboration with Morgårdshammar concluded, and the company's name was changed to reflect our evolving identity. Our product range has consistently set us apart, with a diverse array of stick electrodes falling under the "GM series," including general-purpose mild steel, low hydrogen, low alloy, stainless steel, cast iron, and hard surfacing. Complementing this, the "GMSA series" caters to low heat input electrodes, ideal for repair and maintenance applications. In response to global demand, 2018 saw MHIL taking a proactive step by initiating our wire drawing unit, ensuring a comprehensive range of welding consumables. Operating with a production capacity of 4000 tons per year in Modipuram, we are equipped to meet the evolving needs of the industry. MHIL takes pride in supplying major products to various industries, backed by National and International approvals from esteemed organizations such as Railway, ONGC, BHEL, ABS, and more.
