MODIFY ELECTROMECHANICAL SYSTEMS AND SOLUTIONS PLC “MODIFY” is an Ethiopian company whose main vision is to improve the livelihood of people by providing all-in-one electrical solutions to grid connected and off-grid communities. As a professional engineering firm, it is staffed and organized to: -  Supply electrical materials– indoor and outdoor electrical installation services for commercial, institutional, and residential buildings.  Design, manufacture & erect electrical power distribution panel boards with safety features, control panels for pumps and other machinery.  Install area lighting works for stadiums, dry ports, roads with high mast poles and Street lighting  Supply and install Solar system products (Solar Home Systems (SHS), Mini grids, solar pumps) We offer our products and services with a wide spectrum of technical support including design review, material selection, and approval by relevant authorities with aim of providing quality services and products in a professional manner through a closely monitored and well managed process. Our current customer base for the electrical installations is mostly in the construction sector including private developers, public organizations, contractors and real estate development companies involved in the construction of public facilities such as universities, stadiums, high-rise buildings, residential and private premises. MODIFY entered the solar energy business after realizing that approximately 60 million Ethiopians lack access to clean energy, making Ethiopia the second largest solar energy product market in Africa behind Nigeria(Africa Clean Energy Technical Assistance Facility, 2021; and Signify Foundation, 2019). Furthermore, the sector is currently in its early stages of development and is one of the key priority areas for the Ethiopian Government.
