Led by Rome Prize Fellows Phu Hoang and Rachely Rotem, MODU is an interdisciplinary design studio creating architecture, urban spaces, and interiors. We have designed mixed-use facilities, outdoor pavilions, co-working spaces, urban homes, and other projects in between.
MODU defines a new sustainability that breaks barriers between indoor and outdoor, city and room—bringing us together in different collectives: neighbors, coworkers, and families
Based in New York City, MODU also directs a think tank with diverse experts linking culture and industry. We collaborate with a community of leaders that includes climate scientists, sociologists, technologists, and interactive artists.
