Mörschel Arquitectos

Andreas Mörschel studied architecture and urban planning at the Universität Stuttgart (University of Stuttgart) and at the Faculdade de Arquitectura Universidade do Porto (Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto) and graduated under the mentorship of Boris Podrecca at the Universität Stuttgart. In Portugal he completes a post-graduate degree in real estate and construction management at the Universidade do Minho (University of Minho) and at the Universidade Catolica do Porto (Catholic University Porto). In 2009 he founded his own studio focused on architecture (healthcare, sport facilities, hospitality, housing, and offices) and project consulting for institutional investors. Andreas Mörschel has collaborated closely with various well known national and international consultants in architecture, interior design and planning, developing innovative and successful solutions for the design and implementation of healthcare, hospitality and other projects for important national and international companies including, between others, Hyatt, Hilton, Ecou, Rockstone, Grupo José de Mello and Sporting Club de Portugal (SCP). His masterplan for “Bab Al Madina” Tripoli was part of the International Architecture Biennial - NonaBia São Paulo. His work was published among others by AD Magazine, Uzina Books, Philip Jodidio, Divisare, Marie Claire Maison, Maison France 5 (TV).
