About Moghan Wire and Cable Founded in 1982, Moghan Wire and Cable is a leading Iranian manufacturer of high-quality cables. Starting with low-voltage and telecom cables at our first facility in northeast Iran, we expanded rapidly by 1996, acquiring advanced European technology to produce high-voltage (HV) cables. This growth led to the establishment of a second factory, making Moghan one of Iran’s largest cable manufacturers, with a production capacity of 43,000 tons annually across 102,000 square meters in Shahrood. With over 500 employees, including 200 skilled engineers, we produce an extensive range of cables, including LV, MV, HV, and EHV cables up to 230 kV; fire-resistant and halogen-free cables; armored and non-armored configurations; and specialty cables like instrumentation, welding, and telecom cables. Our laboratory, installed by Germany’s HIGHVOLT, is accredited by ISIRI and certified to IEC 17025 standards. Moghan also holds certifications for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and OHSAS 18001, ensuring strict adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards. We serve critical industries, including oil and gas, energy, urban infrastructure, and telecommunications.
