As for my credentials and experience, I have led Ernst & Young (EY) operations within the Yemen region and beyond, working with businesses of all sizes, set-ups and operations which traded with countries throughout the continents of Africa, the Middle East, and the European Union. I have represented the interests of companies such as BP, British Gas, Shell, Exxon, Schlumberger, Haliburton, Procter & Gamble, Nestle, Land Rover, Dodge, Nissan, Toyota, Kuwait Commercial Bank, and Dubai Islamic Bank. In addition, I am a recognised consultant for the World Bank, United Nations and European Union. During my work with Ernst & Young (EY), I gained in-depth experience in mergers and acquisitions and in a number of sectors, such as; construction, engineering, real estate development, insurance, oil and gas, investment, banking, manufacturing, retail and motor vehicles agencies. I have lived and worked in a number of countries in Africa, the Middle East and Europe and I speak and write English and Arabic proficiently.
