Initiation
•The group was initiated by Pro. Adel Aboul-Naga at the June 2023. First meeting was held at 18th July 2023, the members of this group are mainly from Animal Production Research Institute (APRI) with members from Desert Research Center (DRC), Cairo University (CU) and Ain Shams University (ASU).
Objectives
• Gathering scientists who are interested and active in the area of Molecular Genetics in different animal production fields.
• Reviewing what happened in different livestock species (Sheep, Goat, Buffalo, Cattle, Camel, Poultry and Rabbit) at molecular genetics level and reporting and discussing it
• Planning for future work in different areas and species as individual and institutes level.
• Raising researchers background information in related topics (lab techniques, sampling, Bioinformatics, statistical analysis of the findings, ………).
Scope
Development and interpretations of genomic studies in different Animal Production sectors.
