Being at the vanguard of Specialized Medical imaging, our mission is to apply the techniques and principles of Nuclear Medicine and Radiology directly to overcome and assist in management in the diseases inflicting our patients here in South Africa and beyond. This is an active clinical department committed to providing the highest imaging and therapeutic services to our patients. The Nuclear Medicine Centers, under the direction of Dr. Masha Maharaj, consists of a team of highly trained technologists and nursing staff, able to perform and provide excellent service in Nuclear Medicine diagnostic imaging and therapeutics. The Centres are equipped with the latest and advanced SPECT Gamma camera and equipment for In vivo and In vitro labelling studies. The Nuclear Medicine services offered are kept in accordance with the latest scientific developments, standards and techniques.
