The mission of the Moline Fire Department is to promote, protect, and improve the health, safety, and welfare of the residents of our community. The Moline Fire Department runs out of 4 stations with 3 Engines, 1 Truck, 2 Ambulances, and a Command in service protecting the residents and visitors of Moline, IL on a daily basis. We provide Advanced Life Support Services with all of our apparatus'. We also provide fire suppression, Technical Rescue, HAZMAT, and Peer Support services to the City. Our community has also built a Mutual Aid agreement and in doing so we help protect our surrounding communities as well The Moline Fire Department provides fire prevention and education to the general public throughout the year. This includes presentations and tours for elementary schools (as well as other classes when requested), Girl and Boy Scout troops, churches, and many other organizations. Fire inspections and education are provided to owners of new or existing buildings to ensure fire safety.
