About Moltex Energy
Moltex Energy is developing a next generation nuclear reactor that can produce clean electricity at a lower cost than fossil fuels. The technology is based on molten salt fuel in conventional fuel assemblies. Existing stockpiles of spent nuclear fuel can be used as the fuel source and the electricity produced is entirely flexible. Nuclear can now be considered as a peaking plant, not only baseload. Partnered with New Brunswick Power to deploy the first facilities at Point Lepreau site, Moltex has operations in Canada, the UK, and the USA.
