OUR BUSINESS Moncinto is a commodity trading and logistics company focused on the energy sector, in particular oil and petrochemical products, tanker shipping and storage. We rely on the knowledge and expertise of our team with over 200 man-years of experience, our regional and global network of suppliers and clients and our ability to develop niche markets in order to grow in the very competitive energy sector. We look at logistics not as an edge in the industry but as a necessity to have more control over our product flows and ensure flawless performance. To this end, we are heavily invested in oil and chemical tankers as well as storage terminals. OUR HISTORY Moncinto's roots go back to 2013, when it was established in Muscat, Oman, as a regional trading firm active mainly in the chemicals (methanol), polymers (HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE) and clean petroleum products (CPPs), under the name of Pioneer Trade & Logistics, between Oman and Indian subcontinent. In 2020 we changed our name to Moncinto and shifted our headquarters to Zug, Switzerland. Our new name comes from Monte Cinto, a peak in the beautiful island of Corsica, where the idea to expand into a global company and initial strategies were sparked during a hiking trip. The Zug office is mostly responsible for European business development and operation in particular in the ARA region. In 2021 we launched our Dubai office for further regional presence and more efficient operation of our tanks and warehouses in Fujairah, Sharjah and Jebel Ali. OUR CULTURE We never over-promise.
