GER to GER is the WORLD FIRST Mongolian Community Based Tourism Initiative to be sustainably working with nomadic families and rural communities across Mongolia since 2005 to present. GER to GER has become Mongolia's leading independent sustainable tourism development agency for rural communities, inhabitants and nomadic families to systematically link to the global tourism industry. Today Ger to Ger’s operations extend over across Mongolia including some 40 community based tourism routes and travel products. GER to GER's Mongolian Community Based Tourism endeavors have been officially evaluated and recognized by a wide variety of domestic and international institutions that includes the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), National Geographic Society USA- D.C., National Geographic Society’s Explorers Take Action, Ashoka Changemakers, GlobalGiving, Asian Foundation’s Give2Asia.org, WHL Travel, Lonely Planet, Rough Riders, Trailblazers, and more.
