MSC is Mongolia's premier Strategy Consulting firm. Strategy is the "King of Business Issues"; however, strategy is broadly under-appreciated in Mongolian business culture. Our mission is to coach Mongolian entrepreneurs on thinking and acting strategically, so that Mongolia will become more competitive, globally. Competitive Strategy (Porter, 1980) is a key area in which Mongolian businesses lag behind their international counterparts. For example, Mongolian has vast natural resources; however, 30 years after its transition to democracy, Mongolian Industry is far less developed than other countries with few natural resources were 30 years after their seminal political events (e.g. Japan, 1975; Taiwan, 1979; Singapore, 1995; etc.) In line with the examples set by Japan, Taiwan, and Singapore, the global competitiveness of Mongolian businesses can be improved through the combination of effective coaching, unwavering determination, and hard work.
