Monte de Pasto is one of the largest beef cattle producer and feedlot operator in Portugal. We provide livestock (beef cattle), meat and beef cattle feed all year long. Established in 1981, we were restructured and the object of a large investment in 2015, in order to modernize and expand our business in a sustainable and environmentally responsible way.
Monte de Pasto exports most of its production as our cattle (mainly crossbred Limousine and Charolais) is known for having very good genetics. We are located in a large farming land in the Alentejo region, a rural area with unique natural features where natural conditions are optimal for open air livestock production.
Our high level of services, our extensive know-how and strong expertise allow us to position ourselves as a strong contender to become leader in Beef Production in the Iberian Peninsula and a reference for differentiated quality with the “Monte do Pasto” brand.
