Monte Bluna is a boutique winey from Portugal, Lisbon, producing fine wines with own grapes AOC/DOC Arruda.
Arruda dos Vinhos is one of the ancients and best winemaking regions of Portugal (hence the name “dos Vinhos” – of the Wines).
Monte Bluna handcrafts unique wines, taking advantage of the rare terroir conditions this place has to offer, allied with altitude, an innovation that Monte Bluna introduced as it chose the highest places of Lisbon region to produce all its wines.
Monte Bluna minimal intervention wines express the variety, the year, the location and all cultural operations, believing in absolute control and involvement as a vehicle for minimalism.
In Europe Monte Bluna’s wines are commercialized in Michelin star or similar restaurants, sophisticated hotels and the most prestigious cellars.
Currently Monte Bluna has 4 exclusive wine brands, all with numbered bottles and limited productions:
1. Bluníssima, a wine from an old vineyard only released in the best years
2. tictac, international varietal wines with labels made of wood
3. Monte Bluna Reserva, wines blended with the best grapes of the estate each year
4. Monte Bluna Rare Varietals, low-alcohol gastronomical wines made with very rare indigenous varieties
At Monte Bluna’s vineyards everything is done in balance with the environment, resulting in a harmony that pays permanent tribute to the only true actresses, the grapes.
