Montessori Teacher Preparation of the Philippines is the national leader and pioneer of rigorous and practical Montessori Early Childhood education programs for individuals throughout the Philippines since 2002. Our program is recognized and affiliated with Montessori Institute of America (www.mia-world.org) based in Washington, U.S.A. We are proud to be the first and only Montessori education center to deliver a formal and complete Montessori education certification program in the country. Furthermore, our accreditation with the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (www.macte.org) allows for any graduate of our course to teach anywhere in the world. Our graduates have found successful and thriving positions as Montessori teachers in countries such as the U.S., Canada, Australia, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, South Korea, the Philippines, and more. For most adult learners, the training program has proved to be a fruitful and transformative period of learning, growing, and change. Graduates of this program display a reflection of the program’s nature: our Montessori teachers prove to be humble, loving and compassionate individuals dedicated to realizing the child’s full potential. The hallmark of the program is found in the dedication of the staff and trainers. Resources such as a detailed adult learner handbook and curriculum manual are a result of uncountable hours of research, writing, and editing by qualified Montessori practitioners. Adult learners will have endless opportunities to work hands-on with beautifully crafted Montessori materials designed and manufactured by our one and only Program director. In addition, all those involved in the program will be well-rooted in the philosophies and theories true to Dr. Maria Montessori’s teachings. From April 2002 up to now, MTP of the U.S. has offered and successfully conducted 24 Early Childhood full certification courses, three Infant-Toddler courses, and three Elementary courses.
