Montessori Research & Development

For over four decades, Montessori Research & Development (MRD) has integrated scholarly research and user feedback into developing Montessori materials for early childhood and elementary classrooms. Our materials have become classroom staples, including our Word Study/Word Tower and Botany, Zoology, and Geometry nomenclature sets. In all, MRD offers more than 180 materials across a dozen subjects. Identifying a need for classroom-ready materials compelled MRD to introduce the first elementary cardstock materials. Three-part cards, booklets, and wall charts are the trademarks of our materials. Our comprehensive teacher manual sets are chosen time and again by American and International Teacher Education Centers who value our detailed presentations and clear illustrations. MRD continues to update, refine, and develop materials and manuals for the Montessori community and offers new and innovative materials for lasting, joyful learning.
