After over 30 years as a Registered Nurse and Administrator in the Senior Healthcare Industry, I made the decision to become a Senior Care Manager to allow me to interact directly with seniors to improve their quality of life and care. Working with my clients, I first identify and then advocate for their personal definition of “More Life” – coordinating care and supporting independence BEFORE a health care system is needed. Having the experience of working with thousands of seniors, I have identified key components of what works to support independence and a high quality of life – as well as measures proven to promote health and longevity while preventing rapid declines. I am also fully aware of the challenges faced by our Senior population and their families once the decision to move into community living is made. My experience and understanding of senior health care systems allow me to advocate for my clients’ best interests, preserve their independence and assure their personal preferences are recognized and respected. I am excited to use my experience and passion for the senior community to improve the lives of my neighbors in the low country!
