Since 2000, we organize trips on Madagascar, an island which is not yet discovered by mass tourism. Madagascar is inhabited by various interesting people, and is as well considered as a many-sided destination. Mora-Travel was created by Monique van der Heijden. She lived and worked continuously more than ten years in Madagascar.
Mora-Travel has the main target to let their guests know all facets of the country and really live them. With respect for the country and its people, we would like to offer our tourists an unforgettable experience! We find it very important that local people also get profit from the tourism income. That is the main reason why we work a lot with local tour guides and other local organizations. All our drivers and tour guides, all Malagasy, matured together with our company. They know their country more than anyone else and have very much to tell about it.
Why Madagascar? Because of nature and culture diversity. It is a continent in itself: you'll feel in Africa and Asia at the same time.
