Majlis-Ul-Islam, University of Moratuwa

Majlis-Ul-Islam is a society at the Univesity of Moratuwa which was initiated in 1981 and unites all the Muslim undergraduates at the university. It was established to fulfill the requirements of the members and to enhance the skills and ability of them by performing volunteering and community service towards society. Currently, it has grown as a dynamic organization with more than 300 enthusiastic and dedicated members representing all faculties of the university, namely Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Business and Institue of Technology, University of Moratuwa. The society undertakes its tasks on Education, Guidance and Motivation, Literacy Competitions, Spiritual Guidance, etc. for the members as well as the society.
