Down the crystal lane… Morlinka was born out of the question: how do I switch off my mind and reconnect with myself in this merry-go-round world that keeps me on all the time? Troubled with anxiety and insomnia, I was introduced to amethyst and its healing properties. The purple gemstone is believed to have the effect of calming the mind and relieving stress, amongst other benefits. One night at a time, having the crystal next to my bed, I gradually slept through the night at ease and peace was brought to my waking mind. From there, my passion for crystals continued. Fast forward to 2019… The pandemic forced the world to shut down, so people were distressed. I was called to do something to get through this challenging time. I rolled up my sleeves, joined a natural perfume-making workshop, and had a light-bulb moment to intertwine my love for crystals and essential oils. Through trials and errors, one experiment to the other, and all the ups and downs, the effort came to fruition with the birth of Morlinka’s Crystal Mist: Sound Asleep and Work-In-Progress. People lived through them too. To this day, the craftmanship has branched out to other crystal-infused goodies in individually crafted scents that embody ease and joy in life. The brand name Morlinka came up as a playful twist from Morla, my name. To live sustainably ever after as Morlinka… Helping people should start with helping the planet.
