The Morningside School of Arts is a beautiful Art Deco community hall in the centre of Morningside, an inner-city suburb of Brisbane.
Officially opened on February 19th, 1926, this grand dame has hosted a century of community events, and it is still home to many, including art shows, recreational activities, weddings, birthdays, dances, theatre productions, club meets, and much more.
The brick and timber building, plus the land surrounding it, belong to the local community and are cared for by the trustees—Morningside School of Arts Inc.
